General wellbeing: Coooooooold Plans for improvement of general wellbeing: Must get out of my room more!!!!
One of the reasons why I opted for Toulouse was, of course, the fact that the city is situated in the south of France, embedded into beautiful countryside, with the Atlantic ocean to the west, the Mediterranean to the east, and the Pyrenees a short drive away. I mean, it’s got everything, right? Oceans, Mountains, southern French lifestyle, warm weather…….errr, warm weather?? My ass!! I’ve been freezing my balls off (well, if I had any I would have!!!) for the past month!! Even the sun got the feck out of here!! Hell, I am used to a bit of cold weather, but I am not in freaking Siberia, I am in the SOUTH OF FRANCE! So, what is the matter with this place? Well, according to the Köppen climate classification system Toulouse is located at the junction of the Mediterranean climate zone but falls just short of being classified as such. So being me, I managed to pick a city in the south of France (probably THE one) that actually falls under the same climatic classification as Britain and Ireland! Oceanic! HA!
Other than that, finished all my exams, if I actually passed some of them remains to be seen. The 2nd semester starts next week, and with the improvement of my motivation to make the most of this year, I hope the weather will follow suit!

Geplante Verbesserung des allgemeinen Wohlbefindens: Muss mehr raus aus dem Haus!!!!!!
Einer der Gründe warum ich mich fuer Toulouse entschieden habe, war ja eigentlich die Tatsache, dass die Stadt in Süden Frankreichs liegt. Eingebettet in eine wunderschöne Landschaft, zwischen dem Atlantik gen Westen und dem Mittelmeer gen Osten und die Pyrenäen nur eine kurze Autofahrt entfernt.....klingt ja fantastisch, oder? Meer, Berge, südfranzösischer Lifestyle, warmes Wetter....halt....warmes Wetter??....Denkste!!! Ich frier mir hier seit Wochen den Arsch ab!!!! Sogar die Sonne hat sich aus dem Staub gemacht! Ist ja nicht so, dass ich mich nicht an etwas Kälte gewöhnt wäre, aber bin hier ja schliesslich nicht in Sibieren, sondern in Südfrankreich!! So, was geht eigentlich ab hier???? Also, gemäss der Köppen Klimaklassfikation liegt Toulouse zwar gleich an der Grenze der Mittelmeerklimazone, aber kriegt nicht ganz die Kurve und wird nicht mehr als solche klassifiziert. So, Wie das halt bei mir so ist, hab ich’s fertiggebracht, eine Stadt in Südfrankreich auszuwählen (wahrscheinlich DIE Stadt) die unter die gleiche Klimazone geht wie Grossbrittanien oder Irland! Nämlich Atlantisch! HA!
Ansonsten habe ich gerade alle meine Klausuren geschrieben, ob ich die jetzt bestanden habe sehen wir dann! Das zweite Semester fängt nächste Woche an, meine Motivation das Beste aus diesem Jahr zu machen hat sich auch verbessert und ich hoffe doch schwer, dass das Wetter sich ein Beispiel nehmen wird!!
